#TheNewMe challenge

Let's not let the Covid-19 stop you from doing the things you love and planning your 2021 with new changes and more investment in yourself! Getting to the habit of refreshing, renewing and redefining yourself every year will help you achieve greater things in life. To do that, you have to challenge yourself with new experiences and bring out the new you.


Have you ever felt bored with yourself when seeing yourself make no progress in life?

Have you ever felt demotivated staying in your comfort zone for so long?

If you do feel so, then it's time you need a CHANGE!


This #TheNewMe challenge is created to inspire you and me to do more self-care activities and share with The Wifey Life in the comment or via email.

'The Wifey Life community is a private group created to share thoughts, inspire, connect wives and women in general.

Either you are a housewife or a working wife, a single lady or a divorcee, either you are interested in becoming a wife or engaging in a relationship, you are welcome to join the community to interact and learn more from each other.'


What exactly is the #TheNewMe challenge?


It is a self-challenge to encourage yourself to do more self-care activities in your daily life. Self-care activities involve healthy lifestyles, hobbies, self-development, active habits and goal-driven activities. Investing in yourself first before investing in others.


Plan your self-care activities, capture your favourite moment, write about it and share with The Wifey Life in the comment with the hashtag #TheNewMe. Then, The Wifey Life will collect your sharing, post them on the blog site and across social media channels.


Requirements to join the challenge:

  • I want to change myself for the better.

  • I want to achieve greater things in life.

  • I feel bored with staying the same.

  • I want to step out of my comfort zone.

  • I want #TheNewMe

If you can tick all the boxes above, you are ready and fit to join the challenge.


What do I need to do?


Firstly, repeat these daily affirmations to yourself and pat yourself on the shoulder for existing and being amazing the way you are.


Secondly, sit down and list out your goals for 2021. Ask yourself what do you want to achieve in 2021? Then, break the goals into an action plan and make it happen today! Step by step, little by little, enjoy the progress.


Thirdly, specify your self-care activities in details. Your self-care activities need to reflect your self-love, self-development, self-balance, self-improvement to achieve your self-desire of what you want to become. Here are 10 recommended self-care activities to help you grow:

  1. Take care of your health through food choices.

  2. Stay active with sports and exercises.

  3. Read more and share the knowledge to debate the topics.

  4. Work together, learn to share the connection and spread the love.

  5. Use technology for good purposes, but know when to unplug sometimes.

  6. Practice logical thinking and analysing skills by performing in-depth research on certain topics.

  7. Learn more about our planet and how we can make it a better place for the next generations.

  8. Learn a new skill or a new sport.

  9. Plan out your monthly budget.

  10. Be kind and treat others how you would like to be treated.
